I had the absolute pleasure of traveling out to Texas to work with the Liverpool International Academy over 3 weeks in November. It was a brilliant experience and can't thank the club and my good friend, Mark Meredith enough for looking after me so well!!
I coached 4 of the teams out there, delivered a motivational speech about my story to all age groups at the club and even acted as an assistant coach for 2 games. It thought me so much about soccer in the USA and I hope to return again soon to work with those truly gifted and hard working players.
The club also presented me with a Liverpool shirt at the end of the trip to say thank you for my visit. What an enjoyable and humbling experience!!
