Feeling very blessed to have the opportunity through the Dame Kelly Home Trust, Sports for Schools and my work as a Sporting Champion to go into schools and get them excited about sport. Being introduced to this platform through these great organisation has greatly shaped what I am able to offer from Jack Rutter Skills School.
With the schools I usually run a fun fitness circuit with a sportavator, and then I do a 30 min assembly talking through my journey, I relay a few important key messages (mainly that they can achieve whatever they want to if they put their mind to it), show them some skills and then a Q&A. It's all about staying active and not giving up on your dreams. I love it, and want to reach even more schools with my Skills School.
